Summary
harborandtable.org is a static reference site. It does not run analytics, advertising or social tracking scripts, it does not require an account, and it does not build profiles of visitors.
Browser storage
When the cookie notice appears on the home page, your choice (accept or reject) is stored in your browser's local storage under a single key so the notice does not reappear. This entry stays in your browser, is not transmitted to a server, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. No advertising or analytics cookies are set in either case.
The contact form
The contact form on the home page is a front-end-only form. When you submit it, the fields are validated in your browser and a confirmation message is shown after a short delay. The form does not transmit your name, email, phone number or message to a server, and no data entered into it is stored or sent. If you reach out by email instead, the address you write from is visible only to the editor handling your message.
Externally hosted images
Photographs are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser requests an image, that request reaches Wikimedia's servers, which may log standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type, as any web server can. Their handling of that information is governed by the Wikimedia Foundation's own privacy policy.
Links to other sites
This site links to municipal and government pages as references. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

If this policy changes, the updated date above will change with it. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
